St Helens School Sport Week A Huge Success

National School Sport Week - St Helens

National School Sport Week in St Helens has been hailed a huge success by UC Crew, who welcome the addition of one of the newest sports added to the Olympics, Breaking known as Break Dance.

St Helens first Schools Sports Week Breaking event took place at Queens Park Leisure Centre on Friday 25th June 2021, competitios took part in a number of Breaking challenges to test endurance, strength, balance, sportmanship and creativity.

The two winners of the event was Daphne representing Rivington Primary School and Maisie representing Prescot Primary School, we are so poud of them.

We also want to thank the Youth Sport Trust for the opportunity to join inclusive ‘Together Again’ school sports days for National School Sport Week 2021 of which 800,000 young people participated in across the UK.
