St Helens Infant Schools go head to head against Wigan and Liverpool

On Sunday, 29th October, the much-anticipated 2023-2024 season of the Merseyside, Cheshire & West Lancashire School Breaking Championships officially commenced. This prestigious Infant School League extends invitations to all 823 infant and primary schools nestled within the three counties, encouraging them to present their finest representatives. These representatives then engage in fierce competition throughout the academic year, all with the common goal of accumulating points and subsequently securing trophies for their respective schools, including home schools.

In an impressive display of skill and determination, Theo representing Liverpool Home School network clinched the 1st place position, scoring a remarkable combined total of 250 points. Talented Theo is coached by Rob at Cody Urban Dance. based in Liverpool. This was Theos 2nd time entering the competition.

Not to be outdone, Nicol Mere Primary School also made its mark by securing a commendable combined score of 150 points, with its representative ‘Tillz’ age 5 finishing in 2nd places. She is of a handful fo girls competing in the open gender championships, she previously compted in March 2022 only a few weeks after classes, but her commitment ad determination led her to reaching the finals. St Julies Primary School is a regular in the championships, with superstar Theo. St Julies scored high points throughout the 2022-2023 Championships and took home the 2nd Place Trophy for overallall accumilated over the school year.

Theo was up against tough competion this month with unknown competitors from Wigan and Liverpool that achived gold and silver. Theo is busy practicing to win again in December 2023.
