St Helens Graffiti Art and Hip Hop Music Heritage Weekend

Many people are unaware of the historical importance of the underground Hip Hop scene of St Helens, Merseyside and are surpised when you mention "St Helens" and "Hip Hop" in the same sentence.

This is why we are bringing to you a taster of Hip Hop music and Graffiti Art History during Heritage Open Days, we will be bringing to you a colourful exhibition of graffiti art from the 1960s onwards, stories of the musicians, DJing Workshops, Graffiti Classes, Break Dance performances to St Helens Music, family craft workshops to build boomboxes and videos of the St Helens Hip Hop legends in action.

Saturday 16th - 10:00-4:00pm

DJ Rasp - DJing Workshop and Powered by Hip Hop Break Dance Workshop/Performances throughout the day

Sunday 17th - 10:00-2:00pm

Kingsyze - Graffiti Art Workshop throughout the day
