St Helens Girls Team Success at the Merseyside, Cheshire & West Lancashire School Breaking Championships

On Sunday, 29th October, the much-anticipated 2023-2024 season of the Merseyside, Cheshire & West Lancashire School Breaking Championships officially commenced. This prestigious Senior School League extends invitations to all 1083 infant, junior and secondary schools within the three counties, encouraging them to present their finest representatives. These representatives then compete fiercely throughout the academic year, all with the common goal of accumulating points and securing trophies for their respective schools.

In an impressive display of skill and determination, two sisters representing Sutton Academy and Willow Tree Primary School faced off to win 1st and 2nd place, with the older sister taking the top spot to score 250 points.

Outwood Academy Haydock came third place beating the representative from our Lady’s Bishop Eton Primary School (Liverpool) in a two-round battle. Experience and clean execution led to a successful win.

We would like to provide honourary mentions to Allanson Street Primary, Nicole Mere Primary and Rivington Primary for their first competition debut.
