Powered by Hip Hop / UC Crew represented St Helens on BBC Sport at the WDSF 2022 European Breaking Championships in Manchester on Sunday 6th November 2022.

We attended the International Breaking / Break Dance Competition as spectators to support the European Breaking Championships and the Great Britain team who made it into the top 8 competitors, which were Kid Karam and Sunni.

Before the final B-Boy and B-Girl battles, Host Swifty invited under 16-year-olds to showcase their moves in the main arena, there were only limited spaces but Khalil, Brogann and Xander were selected and put on a good show, they got the loudest round of applause of the crowd and earnt respect from all the judges and European competitors.

The European Breaking Championships was well attended with a huge crowd and cameras filming live for BBC Sport, this didn’t affect the confidence of our Breakers, they enjoyed the spotlight.

Both of our Breaking coaches were very proud of all the Breakers / Break Dancers that attended and represented St Helens, Merseyside and Powered by Hip Hop (UC Crew)
