November - Merseyside, Cheshire & West Lancashire School Breaking Championship Results

30 Breakers from infant, junior and senior schools went head to head this month to compete for the top places in the 2022-2023 Merseyside, Cheshire & West Lancashire School Breaking Championships organised by Powered by Hip Hop / UC Crew.

Talented students who learn the sport/dance of Breaking outside of school time compete in a 1 vs 1 tournament to score points for their school, which ide dependent on where they place in the tournament. Tournaments are typically between 8 students and 16 students per category, but we usually get around 20 junior school competitors.

Infant School Break Dance (Breaking) Results for Merseyside, Cheshire and Lancashire

The winners of the Infant School Break Dancing / Breaking category were:

1st Place - St Peters CE Primary School (Newton-le-Willows), 2nd Place - St Julie’s Primary School (St Helens) and 3rd - Holland Moor Primary School (Skelmersdale)

Highly commended primary schools are:

4th Place - Westfield Primary School (Halton) 5th Place - School TBC and 6th Place - Queens Park Primary School

Junior School Break Dance (Breaking) Results for Merseyside, Cheshire and Lancashire

The winners of the Junior School Break Dancing / Breaking category were:

1st Place - Fazakerley Primary School (Liverpool), 2nd Place - Dovedale Primary School (Liverpool) and 3rd - Our Lady’s Bishop Eton Primary School (Liverpool)

Highly commended primary schools are:

4th Place Willow Tree Primary School (St Helens) and 5th Place Prescot Primary School (Knowsley)

Senior School Break Dance (Breaking) Results for Merseyside, Cheshire and Lancashire

The winners of the Senior School Break Dancing / Breaking category were:

1st Place - De La Salle School (St Helens), 2nd Place - King David Secondary School (Liverpool) and 3rd - Rainford High School (St Helens
