Liverpool Team dominates in Championships

On Sunday, 29th October, the much-anticipated 2023-2024 season of the Merseyside, Cheshire & West Lancashire School Breaking Championships officially commenced. The action packed Junior League extends invitations to all 823 Junior schools across the three counties, encouraging them to present their finest representatives. These Breaking athletes then engage in fierce competition throughout the academic year, all with the common goal of accumulating points and subsequently securing trophies for their respective schools.

In an impressive display of skill and determination, by Our Lady’s Bishop Eton Catholic Primary School (Liverpool) who won the competition for the first time, scoring 330 points. Talented Archie came first place, taught and coached Cody Urban Dance, Powered by Hip Hop and Dockside Breakers. Team Member Ella from Our Lady’s Bishop Eton scored 80 points in 4th place.

Not to be outdone, Dovedale Primary School also made its mark by securing a commendable combined score of 190 points, with its representatives finishing in 3rd, 7th and 11th places. (Cole, Teddy and Fin) The team are coached and trained by Rob and Gill at Cody Urban Dance.

Finally in third place is Fazakerley Primary School, who was the 2022-2023 overall champion with Khalil, who scored 150 points. Khalil taught and coached Powered by Hip Hop and Dockside Breakers.
