Graduation Success for St Helens Break Dance/Breaking Coach Tom

Tom Glynn from the National Award-Winning UC Crew becomes the second person in the UK to graduate from the International Breaking Teachers Education Course, delivered by the BBoy & BGirl Dojo based in Helsinki, Finland.

Tom said “The course has been hugely beneficial to UC Crew and has helped us to develop our coaching offer for St Helens Schools, which we train over 1000 students a year in Breaking (Break Dancing). The inclusion of Breaking in the 2024 Paris Summer Olympic Games is exciting news and we hope to bring a Breaking competition back to St Helens in the near future”

UC Crew is currently accepting new members of adults, teens and children to join their team to represent St Helens in UK competitions, full coaching is provided, and no prior experience is needed.

2022 will also see the launch of the first-ever St Helens Primary School Breaking Competition.
