Eurovision Break Dance event in St Helens - Breakvision

Eurovision Break Dancing Event

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Eurovision-inspired Break Dancing event at St Helens Town Hall in Merseyside on Sunday 4th June.

The FREE Eurovision festival of Hip Hop culture and Break Dancing, will be one of the last events of the Eurovision Legacy programme - Eurostreets funded by Liverpool City Council.

Breakvision - United by Music will bring together Hip Hop dancers and Break Dancers from across the UK to come together to celebrate Eurovision coming to the region, by competing in an action-packed 2 vs 2 Break Dancing competition for kids and adults competing for prizes.

There will be Hip Hop performances by local dance crews, Beatboxers, DJs, Graffiti Art workshops, activities for families and more!

The event will start at 12:00 and is expected to finish around 5:00pm

GETTING TO ST HELENS TOWN HALL

St Helens Town Hall is on Victoria Square​, Bickerstaffe Street​, St Helens​, WA10 1HP​. It is in the heart of the town centre and close to all amenities and travel hubs.

Travelling by car​

There is a car park on-site with 96 spaces, some of which can be reserved for your event, including three disabled bays. In addition, there is ample paid parking locally, such as on Birchley Street, which is around a 10-minute walk from the town hall. Special vehicles, such as wedding cars,​ can be provided with access to drive onto Victoria Square and park in front of the main entrance.

Travelling by bike​

There are places to store your bike locally or on-site. CCTV is in operation but bikes are left at the owner’s risk.​

Travelling by bus​

The main bus station is around a two-minute walk, with buses covering routes across the borough and beyond, the bus station is situated across from St Helens Theatre Royal.

Travelling by train​

St Helens Central train station is around a 10-minute walk, with regular trains connecting to stations within the borough, as well as Liverpool, Blackpool North, Wigan and Glasgow.​
